As you are still  here I thought I would talk a little bit about emotional states as anxiety is an emotional state, some states empower you  and some states hold us back but they are just states. Most people are unaware that with hypnosis training you can learn how to control your body mind and get the life you truly desire. Hypnosis for anxiety is the key as it is the opposite emotional state to anxiety and is a state of well-being.

Some states feel better than others. Some states hold you back but you can get control of them. At the start of each day, you can  consider “what would be the best state for me to be in today?” Then act throughout the day “as if” you were already in that state.

If you want to be free of anxiety ask your self what is the most empowered emotional state you want instead, then start to adopt the physiology of that- this can help you take charge rather than be a passenger to it. Your the thinker of your thoughts so think positive thoughts, resist the temptation to think about problems. Anxiety is often the snowball of negative thoughts and emotions.

So in a nut shell unless I am going to help you fast, you should notice what you do that works and do more of that. The more you are used to identifying the successes and strategies that lead to your success, the more able you are to employ them and notice when you are not employing them. This gives you the chance to take corrective action from the feedback.

Jump on in and notice what you notice. Also, remember the four stages of learning:

  • Unconscious incompetence – “I don’t know that I don’t know”
  • Conscious incompetence – “I know what I want but don’t know how to do it”
  • Conscious competence – “I know how to do it but I have to think about it”
  • Unconscious competence – “I know how to do and don’t have to pay conscious attention to it”

So:

  • Acknowledge the state and take action to change it : “I’m anxious”, then ask yourself “What else do I need?”

Am I anxious because …

  • There is missing information? (environment)
  • I don’t know what to do? (behaviour)
  • I don’t know how to do something? (capability)
  • It conflicts with my beliefs and values? (beliefs and values)
  • It’s not in keeping with my sense of self? (identity)
  • I am engaging in negative self talk? (behaviour)
